‘Your Golden Feather’ is a Creative Arts five-week series for Mothers, childcare provided.  Like the seed underground tucked away, winter and spring is a perfect time to enter a self-discovery journey.  This group series draws upon the rich road map of ageless fairytales, myths, and nighttime dreams, to unveil inspiration, renewal, and guidance for each person’s current soul-drama.  Taking time to nurture ourselves also blesses our children. As a closure, each member of the group is invited to share, if they are willing, a brief enactment or other creation on a personal or social theme explored during the series.  FREE Registration required

NEW GROUP!!

Friday—“Ring Around the Rosie and More!, at the Early Intervention building, 80 Pearl Street, Hyannis, 11:00 am-12:15 pm, March 31st– April 28th (5-week-session), Miss Barbara, appropriate for 3-5 years of age

This 5 week series will focus on active, non-competitive social games with a flair for drama. Every game imaginable will be introduced to the children.  Hide & Seek, Duck Duck Goose, Zip Zap Zop, etc. etc. and song and finger play galore.  Parents will be invited to introduce and share games and group play to spread the fun.  Since the weather is softening with smiley suns, some of the play will be focused outdoors.  There will be lots of movement in this group and exploration of contrasts physically through body and voice and emotionally through expression and every other which way that can be thought up!  Up and down, loud and soft, in and out, happy and sad, forward and back, round and straight, zigzag and march!  Each parent will leave at the end of the 5 week series with fabulous resources for play.  And, other things too, such as: parents sharing anything with other parents having to do with growing our little ones into happier bigger ones:  favorite books, favorite songs, bedtime tips, favorite snacks, places to see and places to go.  Parents can advance topics of interest.  Your facilitator will be inviting input, listening carefully, and delighted to type up and distribute all of our discoveries to take home for eternity. Included in this mostly game-filled adventure will be also creative expression with materials to remind us that creating is always playing too.  Hope you will join us, and “rosie in. ”ALL FALL DOWN!
